11/29 seminar: Remote Food Photography Method to Measure Dietary Intake
Join us on Wed, November 29th from 1:00 – 2:00 in room 1680 at the School of Public Health (building I) to hear from speaker Corby K. Martin, PhD, clinical psychologist and Director of the Ingestive Behavior Laboratory at Pennington Biomedical Research Center.
In this seminar, Dr. Martin will introduce the Remote Food Photography Method and complementary SmartIntake® smartphone app as a method to measure dietary intake among individuals as well as assess the quality of food environments in community settings, such as schools and childcares. He will present information on the validity and feasibility of the Remote Food Photography Method among adults, adolescents, and children in controlled and free-living environments. The seminar will be interactive, providing attendees the opportunity to explore integration of the Remote Food Photography Method into their nutrition and obesity research programs at the University of Michigan.
